Track your delivery live
Follow your order on a live map with delivery progress, driver details, and estimated times—no sign-in required.
Who can do this
| User | Access |
|---|---|
| Guest or signed-in customer | Yes, if you have the tracking link or order ID |
| Account sign-in | Not required for the tracking page |
When you need this
- You placed a delivery order and want to see when the driver is assigned, picked up, and on the way.
- The merchant or confirmation screen gave you a Track Delivery link.
How to open tracking
| Method | Path |
|---|---|
| After checkout | On the order confirmation screen, tap Track Delivery (delivery orders only). |
| Direct link | /track/{orderId} — replace {orderId} with your order ID from confirmation or receipt. |
You do not need to sign in. Keep the link private; anyone with it can view delivery status for that order.
What you see on the tracking page
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Status | Current step (e.g. finding driver, driver assigned, on the way, delivered). |
| Live badge | Green Live when real-time updates are connected; Offline when only periodic refresh is available. |
| Complete / Cancelled | After delivery finishes or is cancelled, the badge shows Complete or Cancelled instead of Live—live polling and map animation stop; the map shows a final snapshot of the last driver position. |
| Live location map | Pickup (restaurant), your address, and driver pin when a driver is assigned and location is shared. |
| Your driver | Name, vehicle, and call button when a driver is assigned. |
| Delivery progress | Timeline of steps from search through delivery. |
| Delivery route | Pickup and drop-off addresses in text. |
| Provider link | If the merchant uses an external courier (e.g. Lalamove), a link to that provider’s tracking page may appear. |
Delivery progress steps (typical order)
- Finding driver — order is waiting for a driver.
- Driver assigned — a driver accepted the job.
- Heading to restaurant — driver en route to pickup.
- At restaurant — driver at pickup location.
- Order picked up — goods collected.
- On the way — driver heading to you.
- At your door — driver at delivery address.
- Delivered — order completed.
Exact labels match the tracking page UI. Some steps may be skipped or combined depending on the delivery provider.
How location updates work
- The map updates when the driver’s position changes (about every 60 seconds while they have an active delivery in the driver app).
- The driver pin moves smoothly between updates on the map; it is not a second-by-second GPS stream like some food-delivery apps.
- If updates pause, tap Refresh Status or wait—the page also refreshes periodically.
- After Delivered or Cancelled, live updates stop automatically. You can still open the page to see the timeline and last map position; use Refresh Status once if you need the latest saved data.
Verify it worked
- Status and timeline advance as the delivery progresses.
- After Delivered, the final step shows completed.
- Driver card appears once a driver is assigned (for delivery job marketplace / in-app fleet deliveries on Bumi — not third-party courier apps unless linked separately).
Common issues
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Tracking not found | Wrong order ID or tracking not started yet | Use the link from confirmation; wait a minute after placing the order and refresh. |
| Map shows no driver pin | Driver not assigned yet, or location not shared | Wait until status is past Finding driver; pin appears when driver is assigned and sharing location. |
| Pin does not move every second | Normal; updates are periodic | Wait for the next update; movement is smoothed between GPS points. |
| Offline badge | Real-time connection unavailable | Page still refreshes on a timer; use Refresh Status. |
| Only external provider link | Merchant uses third-party courier only | Open the provider link (e.g. Lalamove) for their native map. |
